ABOUT JG SOCIAL
Before moving to our current location in June 2001, JG Social, formerly Joseph's Grill, was proudly located at the corner of Concord and State Streets in St Paul. For nearly 15 years, we worked diligently to build a loyal following of patrons who became like family. Our St Paul community played a vital role in shaping who we are today, and we’re forever grateful for the friendships and support we received during those early years.
When it came time to relocate, we were committed to creating a new space that not only reflected our core values—hospitality, warmth, and a passion for great food—but also a place that our guests would continue to enjoy for many years to come. We’re proud to say that we’ve achieved that with our new location, which offers a fresh, inviting atmosphere while maintaining the familiar, comforting feel that made the original JG’s so beloved.
We chose to build our private event venue and restaurant right here, where our family’s roots run deep. This neighborhood is rich with diversity, culture, and history, and it was important to us to remain part of this vibrant community. St Paul has always been a melting pot of people from all walks of life, and we wanted Joseph’s to be a place where everyone—whether a long-time local or a newcomer—could come together to share a meal in good company.
